Salary – flexible working £50,000 p.a. + benefits
Home based – with frequent travel, primarily to the City of London

The Worshipful Company of Pattenmakers is a City of London Livery Company awarded its Royal Charter in 1670. The Company is first recorded as a trade association for the makers of pattens in 1379 and the trade itself dates from the 12th century or earlier. The company’s main function remains as a trade association with a strong social and charitable ethos.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Genuine interest in both the Company’s and it’s Charitable Trust activities
- Proven experience of the management and strategy development of a comparable sized organisation
- Maintain and develop positive relationships
- Knowledge, or a serious interest in acquiring knowledge, of the City of London, the Livery Community and its traditions
- Experience of protocol and ceremony
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and event management
- Sound administrative acumen
- Up to date skills in business, IT finance and social media
- Honesty, integrity, and confidentiality
- Willingness to work flexibly and patiently
- Live within a reasonable travelling distance to London
