The fourth Annual CCLA–Marylebone Executive Search Lecture and Reception took place on Monday 19th November 2018.
Entitled 'Power, Reputation & Influence through the Prism of Journalism’, Deborah Haynes gave the Lecture to an invited audience of 300 at Drapers Hall in the City of London.
Deborah is the Foreign Affairs Editor at Sky News having previously spent the last nine years as Defence Editor for The Times, covering conflict overseas as well as the battle for funding for the armed forces. Before moving to London she was the Iraq correspondent for The Times from 2007-2009.
Deborah worked for Reuters in London before joining The Times and having spent six years as a correspondent for Agence France-Presse, based in Tokyo, Geneva, Baghdad and London.
She has won two awards for her work revealing the plight of Iraqi Interpreters working for the UK government in Iraq, which resulted in a new policy to resettle many of these brave people and their families in Britain.
